Audience Member Blame this movie on terrible marketing. Dark was the night is actually a decent little indie character study. This movie is not a thriller. The title is misleading as is the box art in the studio just pretty much dumped out of nowhere. But it’s a decent little film about loss after the tragic passing of a family member. Performances are great and the movie does not overstay it’s welcome. it could have more depth and there’s nothing about a groundbreaking and it’s predictable but it’s a nice little watch.
