Powered by three superb performances from Vijay Verma, Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah, it feels real enough to make you flinch. At some point the film also becomes a revenge thriller of sorts, which still works in context with what we've seen before. However, it is the attempts at including laughs into the proceedings that really make the film falter - shuffling between black comedy and outright comedy so awkwardly that it creates an unnecessary tonal identity crisis. Add to that an overcooked third act, and what starts out as a very promising movie peters out into an unsatisfying end product. See more Read all reviews
