Randy Myers San Jose Mercury News Director Tim Story and screenwriter Scott Rosenberg keep this one peppy and fun throughout, but it is the pairing of Howery and Bridges as a griping holiday naysayer that really make it jingle all the way. Rated: 3/4 Nov 27, 2023 Full Review Owen Gleiberman Variety In its way, the movie takes you back: to that Christmas present you still remember, the one that touched a chord in you and meant everything. Nov 20, 2023 Full Review Monica Castillo RogerEbert.com “Dashing Through the Snow” has all the makings of the kind of movie parents will throw on for their kids in desperation to find something new and walk away in the hope they’re not asked to watch it with them. Rated: 1/4 Nov 17, 2023 Full Review Joshua Ryan FandomWire Dashing Through the Snow is the type of joyless holiday entertainment that drains cheer rather than delivers it. Yes, it’s a straight to streaming release. No, that is not an excuse for subpar content. Rated: 2/10 Jul 28, 2024 Full Review Archi Sengupta LeisureByte.com Audiences shouldn’t try to go too deep into this silly but warm film to have fun. It’s a sweet adventure that is okay to forget after the 90 minutes are up. Rated: 3/5 Jul 4, 2024 Full Review Dylan Duggan That Shelf It’s carried by Ludacris and Lil Rel Howery’s performances, but as much as they make an enjoyable comedic duo, it’s doubtful the film as a whole will earn a spot on many people’s essential holiday season watch lists. Audience Member This was nothing more than a cute, simple, Disney channel style Christmas movie. Ludachris and Lil Rey Howery’s chemistry was the best part. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/02/24 Full Review r96 s It almost works thanks to Lil Rel Howery, but 'Dashing Through the Snow' ultimately falls flat. Howery does produce some good stuff as Santa, though he - as with the film in general, really - isn't given enough to work with to make it a success. There is mild amusement throughout, but the film needed more entertainment from its plot and much better pacing to be enjoyable. The bad guys are particularly poorly written and used, while the Xmas vibes aren't really all that abundant. The cast, namely Howery, Ludacris and Madison Skye Validum, all do try and are the film's strongest element. I just needed more from elsewhere with this, I could feel my interest waning from around the midway point. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/30/24 Full Review Gareth D Fun, silly, sweet, enjoyable. Better than expected. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/24 Full Review Stephen S i mean this was just sad imo Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/08/24 Full Review Cecily G This movie was great! A new take on adults discovering Santa! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/25/23 Full Review Marvel G This movie was hilarious! I watched it three times already. My family loved it. I don't want to spoil anything but the movie follows a protagonist who hates Christmas and his daughter and a special friend help him to find the Christmas spirit! Great cast and a pleasant performance from Ludicris! Watch with your kids. If you don't have kids, watch Die Hard!🤷🏽‍♀️ Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews
