Dontfucking E This is NOT Song of the South!!!!!!!!! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/17/24 Full Review Leftside G A great movie to watch! Lots of beautiful scenes of South Vietnam with perfect filming angles, slow-motion effects & one-shots. The movie reflected both the abundance and damage/loss of the land and people of South Vietnam in the war. There are some controversies about the contents, but it's just a short movie which can't convey the whole novel. I'll leave the rest 0.5 star for part 2 & hope that it's worth my 5 stars. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/01/24 Full Review KC S I enjoyed the movie. It was a funny uplifting film about a time in history rife with bloodshed and unrest. The graphics were beautiful. I found Song of the South to be refreshing. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/24 Full Review Ty N The writing leans heavily on formulaic melodrama, leading to an unnecessarily long runtime. However, this is not unusual if you are familiar with Vietnamese opera. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/17/24 Full Review John-Giang T Just saw the movie and I have to say I really enjoy it. If you love VN and love the countryside and the people who fought invaders and fight for Justice for the people - then you will enjoy the movie. Some really nice scenery. The movie took place during the French Colonial time in Southern VN. I am from the south số the scenery remind me of my childhood. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/14/23 Full Review Dusk T This movie give misinformation about the Viet Nam history, just a bunch of clown trying to trick the young generation.
