I learned much I did not know in 25 years of following this part of history. I think it is ABSOLUTELY mandatory viewing for each and every person in America. To think that a trial has not happened after 25 years is a hard truth to accept. The relationship that grew between Jessica and Liz was the only glimmer of hope and it is a beautiful thing to come out of this horrible tragedy. I learned so much, and I actually came away with more questions—which I mean as a compliment. I appreciated how realistic and comprehensive the program felt. It doesn’t simply revisit 9/11 from one perspective; it explores the different perspectives surrounding that day, provides important context from before 9/11, and examines the consequences we are still dealing with 25 years later, including the ongoing issues surrounding terrorism and detainees at GTMO. You can tell how much painstaking time, research, and effort Jessica and Elizabeth have put into this project. Their commitment to seeking justice and closure, while also examining what we can learn to help protect America’s future, really comes through. A fascinating, sobering, and genuinely worthwhile watch. Twenty-five years later, there is still so much to understand—and this documentary left me wanting to understand more. It focuses on KSM and the fact that he or any other terrorist hasn’t been brought to justice thru the courts. It also gives the FBI 5 minutes of fame to complain about the CIA. Jessica made the doc worth it for me. Her strength guts and determination are inspiring. She kept me engaged in the story when the FBI or Liz were losing me. See more Jesus B @RT63590858 15 hrs ago Had the pleasure to watch it live on CBS and I truly enjoyed seeing both Jessica and Liz talk about their years long battle to seek justice for their fathers who had their lives taken away on that horrible September morning. This documentary was truly needed because there are 100 million Americans that weren’t alive during 9/11 and it’s a day we should never forget. There is many documentaries that explain the events of 9/11, but this does an excellent job reminding the viewer that real people have to live with the consequences of that day and it’s not something they can just move on. I applaud these two brave women for their deeply held convictions of seeking justice and I truly hope anyone who watches remembers the innocent people who were robbed of their lives on 9/11. Thank you Liz and Jessica for giving us a view into your lives and using your voices to fight for justice.
