Audience Member I gave this special 4 1/2 stars even though I really think only 2 of the 4 comedians were that good. I thought Greg Giraldo and Dane Cook's standup was that good that you can either suffer through the other 2 of simply fast forward. I think there were parts of Sean Rouse and Dave Attell's material that was ok, but the way in which they present their jokes is so disconnected and bland that when it's time to laugh you almost feel sorry for them. I also appreciate the fact that this is Dane Cook prior to him making it big and I think his material "pre-'Waiting'" was really fresh and entertaining. After that I think he became full of himself and it seemed like in his standup he was just bragging all the time. If you're looking for something to watch that'll give you a couple solid hours of laughs, then check out Greg Giraldo and Dane Cook in, 'Dave Attell's Insomniac Tour Uncensored!' Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Dave Attell sucked. His material was all fluff and no substance. Too much playing to the crowd. It might help to be drunk while watching it, which the audience certainly was. Sean Rouse was good, but not great. I liked his style and personality much more, but he was a little underwhelming overall. Greg Giraldo was fabulous, as always. His act, if rated individually, I would give 4 1/2 stars, and is the only reason I'm not giving this the 1 1/2 stars it deserves overall. Dane Cook was not at his best, and seemed out of place with the other, more subdued, comics. Very different comedic style and it sort of clashed. He also recycled a lot of material, which as a fan I kind of resent. Overall, about half of the 1 hr 38 min runtime I was outright bored and wishing I was doing/watching something else. The other half was mildly funny, with very funny moments speckled throughout. The exception is Giraldo's act, which was the only part of the DVD I would call hilarious.
