joel h I'm a fan of Dave Barry's writing, and this movie definitely has his style of humor in it, but this feels like a poorly made late-night infomercial for his book instead of an actual, cohesive film. Even though the jokes are good, and the acting isn't completely terrible, the amateur style of filmmaking makes it feel cheap and even cringey at times. You're probably better off reading the book instead of watching the movie. Or at least part of it. Everyone knows at least a few guys like the ones portrayed in the film. Many people have to deal with more of these guys than they'd care to.
