Audience Member Really good western set in the mountains has Tina Louise from Gilligans island Burl Ives in both in an outstanding job. Highly recommend this one James Welch, Henderson, Arkansas, November 12, 2023. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/12/23 Full Review SICKS6SIX The red round people score it 100% WOW that's rare and so is this film, made the year I was born 1959 making it 61 years young, one of the best action westerns ever made, watch it and learn how to make a good film, everyone is unlikeable and everyone is dirty and smelly unwashed and drunk, just how it was, but there is a hero and as you watch you want him to win, A tense thriller, it has been colourized and the scenery looks like it was filmed yesterday, the snow capped mountains the brown wooden shacks the dull drab clothing, no clean cut cowboys in this film, if Roy Rogers is your thing you will hate this film, on the other hand if realism is what you like, watch and enjoy, Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/29/22 Full Review Audience Member I did not like it all and I can remember her in it still. She was all wrong for the part. I think her best work was gilligans island. They made her famous not the d rated movies she was in, including this one. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review william k Excellent unusual Western set in a winter landscape starts off as a closed room drama and continues in rough mountain territory, expertly directed and photographed with a good, solid cast, and some twists in its narrative. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Good but not great. Lots of good actors and some exceptional scenes, like the memorable mountain suicide trek, but the story ultimately lacks believability as the bad guys are just TOO rotten to ever have been an organized unit. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review deke p Saw pm tv 3.16.19. Pretty good, tho lots of plot is not esxactly how people would act. & Horses struggle in deep deep snow. Were any horses harmed?? + Burl Ives very good as the badmen leader. These days they would show the rape scenes, instead of a ruff hoe-down dance.
