robert p Never had much respect for non Superhero's which is what I consider Green Arrow and Hawkeye, Archery is so common, so I cannot recommend this short movie! P.S. Green Arrow fires arrow after arrow but his is never out of arrow's. Rated 1/5 Stars •  Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Before you ask, no I have never seen a single episode of Arrow, save for the Elseworlds crossover (it was given to me as a birthday gift by somebody who was unaware of the Arrowverse and mistook it for a new show rather than the crossover/backdoor pilot for Batwoman that it really was), Legends of Tomorrow S1 guest-starring appearance notwithstanding. So I won't be able to compare this short with the show that innovated teen-oriented superhero television in a way that Smallville and Heroes never did. With that said, despite this adaptation's brevity, it does fully capture the essence of Green Arrow with fun quips from Neal McDonough, thrilling action and a decent story that...ahem...showcases what he can do in the span of a couple of minutes. The only real downside I can think of is that it feels like it's over too soon. I think it could've benefitted from a few more minutes but what the hey. This was still a good short film that DC's own superhero archer isn't just "Hawkeye if he weren't a loser".
