The future of a gymnasium that caters to boxers in a suburb of Sydney is threatened when property developer and political aspirant Pearl Elkington (Lynette Curran) has plans to put up luxury condominiums in its place. Alexandra (Agnieska Perepeczko), the gym's owner, is also in competition with Pearl over the same man. Alexandra decides to call on her ex-lover, a retired boxer, to help her out. When their romance heats up again, Alexandra's life gets even more complicated.
