Sadie Sink is a decent actress, and she is genuinely compelling here. She brings emotional weight to Tess and makes her journey through grief, guilt, and everything happening around her believable enough to keep you invested My biggest issue is the screenplay. There are several missed opportunities where the story could have gone deeper and developed certain moments into something much more powerful. Instead, the film often leans heavily on dialogue, and at times there is simply too much of it. Rather than letting the performances and situations speak for themselves, the screenplay frequently explains what the characters are feeling, which slows the movie down and keeps it from reaching the emotional level it could have That said, there is definitely creativity here, and the story does enough to keep you connected as it develops.
