Phil Hoad Guardian Death Valley is never fully disturbing, but enjoyably gross is good enough. Rated: 3/5 Dec 6, 2021 Full Review Joel Fisher Battle Royale With Cheese Death Valley is a generic, action thrusting, testosterone fuelled monster movie which should have been forgotten long ago. Feb 9, 2022 Full Review Daniel Gorman In Review Online There are just enough simple pleasures here - including hand-crafted practical effects and a generous amount of gooey kills - to make this a painless watch. Dec 17, 2021 Full Review Abbie Bernstein Assignment X Surprisingly well-done... Death Valley distinguishes itself from the pack of shoot-our-way-through-a-lab-full-of-monsters subgenre. Rated: B Dec 13, 2021 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film For what it is, this film really shines. Rated: 3/5 Dec 9, 2021 Full Review Brian Orndorf Blu-ray.com Ninaber plays it safe to make sure he has a viable endeavor, but what he needs is insanity, which "Death Valley" is sorely lacking. Jason W If you are a fan of the Resident Evil style of film, this is right up your alley. Good acting all around, great chemistry between the two main characters. Jeremy Ninaber has natural action star vibes. Excellent practical makeup effects which brought it up a notch as opposed to using the same old monster cgi. Amazing to find out a lot was filmed inside a garage using many of the same set pieces. A true DIY film by Matthew Ninaber. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 08/02/24 Full Review Thom G The dialogues and characters are so terrible that one wonders if they intended to create a "so bad it's good" movie, but the cheap plot wrapped in an empty action shell made me stop the movie halfway through. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/19/24 Full Review uomo d nice monster design, ok plot. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/14/23 Full Review jeff m The writing was like if they had a new writer come in every 15 or so pages but they weren't able to see what the previous writers wrote and just decided to wing it. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Hugo - Shudder F "Alien" meets "Resident Evil". A military mission to an underground facility where scientific experiences went horribly wrong. An action packed horror survival worth watching! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/28/22 Full Review Audience Member meh. it's not bad but it's not that good either. the cinematography almost makes it feel like you're watching a video game or something - had a similar vibe as resident evil maybe - but a somewhat incredibly subpar version of it. i wouldn't go out of my way to watch this one, but if you don't have anything better to watch it's not bad.
