Yakta Z I really enjoyed Deemak! As Pakistan’s first psychological horror, it does a great job focusing on mental health, trauma, and family issues instead of typical horror clichés. The acting was solid, the story felt real, and while the CGI could’ve been better, the overall message made it worth watching. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/13/25 Full Review Bakhtawar B Here's my take on Deemak! The plot is quite engaging and captivating; I appreciate how it highlights negativity, a significant issue that is often overlooked. Samina Peerzada and Sonia Hussain delivered outstanding performances that truly enhanced the film's appeal. However, they could have portrayed the jinns in a more realistic manner with an element of suspense (rather than making them comedic). The execution could use some refinement. The toxic behavior of the mother-in-law should not be accepted by the husbands. Overall, it was a delightful experience watching this masterpiece! I have a feeling the jinns were enjoying the moment with the baby jinns alongside us. 😂💀 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/13/25 Full Review Read all reviews
