There's nothing deep or philosophical here, but Deep Murder does have a unique and imaginative plot, and despite the ludicrous dialogue and juvenile humor, it's an entertaining watch. Go to Full Review

Much of the comedy comes from the ridiculousness of porno characters struggling to break out of their predetermined roles. It works better than you might think. Go to Full Review
David Bax Battleship Pretension 02/28/2019
Is it possible that this crazy, bloody, smutty, hilarious movie is also an argument for the ability of fiction to help us make sense of the world? Or is it just an excuse to have someone wield a dildo as a murder weapon? Go to Full Review
Brian Collins Birth.Movies.Death. 09/27/2018
The niche target audience should have a good time with it. And if you're a slasher fan... well, you won't see much else like it, that's for sure. Go to Full Review

K V @IsMackinac 04/29/2022 This movie made me embarrassed for the cast. I'd call it terrible, but it was worse than that. Use the hours of your life wisely; don't throw away two of them on this movie. See more 05/26/2021 Great parody crossover of slasher & soft porn. The shower scene is amazing See more 04/29/2021 Surprisingly hilarious! Its a little Indie film, did not expect it to be so funny. The writers dont miss a beat! Just a laugh a minute...I sent the trailor to everybody. Great fun evening! See more 07/11/2020 Sex, gore, and humor: three of the best things you can ask for in a B horror movie. See more alek g 12/17/2019 Surprisingly a really great, entertaining, thought provoking film. See more Carol H 11/20/2019 This is a deeply silly movie satire about a softcore porno universe that only exists within the limits of softcore porn plots that begins to alter its genre when a serial killer begins killing the inhabitants. Although sex scenes are staged everywhere, there is very little nudity (one full male frontal) and very fake looking sex--one couple act like they are having passionate sex but the man never takes his very visible underwear off. The characters have previously accepted their limited existences without question, they are simply there, with a determined dialogue and plot twists they are accustomed to. But the murders interrupt the neverending sex scenes and they are forced to search within their paper thin personalities for something else to do while searching for the murderer. The mother character, denied her definition as cheating spouse, turns to mothering, attempting to nurture everybody equally, for instance. The atmosphere is dream-like and creepy, which suits the mindbending unreality of this strange little universe. The jokes are often lame but enough land that I was laughing at the ridiculousness or goggling at the weirdness enough to be entertained. The ending is weak but the whole was worth the time. There aren't many movies like this one. See more Read all reviews
