There are narrative aspects that are inventive, but unfortunately, the movie overextends its grasp. Go to Full Review

Dull take on encroaching madness and single location hellraising, rendered incomplete by choppy storytelling and an overall drowsiness that makes it difficult to maintain patience with 90 minutes of routine frights. Go to Full Review

Oz S Oct 5 I didn’t really enjoy Delirium. I’d give it a 2 out of 10. The spooky parts were dull, the acting felt exaggerated and unbelievable, and the overall production looked cheap. The plot and its supposed twists have been done too many times before, so it just wasn’t fun to watch. I did appreciate that it was around 90 minutes long and that several story points connected nicely at the end. I also enjoy this genre in general, which helped a bit. But overall, this is not a movie I can recommend. just another forgettable Netflix title. See more Salem K @SH_94 Oct 4 The only likeable part of this whole movie is when it finally ends. The acting was awful, the editing was bad, the story was predictable, and no one has even a hint of chemistry with eachother. How it's gotten any good reviews is insane. See more Melissa L @Agent99 Sep 14 Once again I find myself at odds with Rotten Tomatoes...and IMDB. I thought this was a good psychological horror film with a fairly happy ending. I recommend it. See more 07/10/2024 Clever unreliable narrator story. Had me wondering what was real along with him the whole movie. See more Tibor F 05/22/2024 Absolute, utmost, unfollowable trash. A visual chewing gum, with zero taste. Complete waste of time. See more Grimm R 04/06/2024 Delirium is a horror mystery that follows Topher Grace as Tom, after being released from a psychiatric hospital, he comes into inheritance when his parents die. While on house arrest, and after a series of mysterious events, Tom comes to the conclusion that the house his parents left him is haunted. I honestly had no idea what to expect from this movie going into it. I just knew it was a psychological horror movie with Topher Grace and the only other role I saw him in was Eddie Brock in Spider-Man 3. I will start off by saying his performance in this film is what really carries the movie as he seems likable and charming. This movie is a slow burn type of horror where little things happen and then the big twist towards the end is the part to stay for and I will admit that this movie does drag and the little horror elements feel cheap and weren't executed well. But there are some gorey visuals and I did enjoy the little things that we'd learn about Tom, his family, and why he was in the hospital and those little details really make the payoff towards the end much better and so as I think this movie does have problems with how they used the horror and really holding back on using it to elevate the story, the actual story itself is pretty good and I have to give this movie a C+.
