Delta Farce

What to Know

Critics Consensus

Too afraid to be a real satire of the Iraq War, Delta Farce instead devolves into a reprehensible, unfunny mix of slapstick, gay panic, and flatulence jokes.

Marrit Ingman Austin Chronicle Is it funny? Not really. All of its subversive potential is wasted on [director] Harding, and even the straight-ahead farce is joyless. Rated: 0/5 May 22, 2007 Full Review Stephen Garrett Time Out If ribbing the U.S. armed forces was considered unpatriotic after 9/11, then Delta Farce proves that discussion of the Iraq War has now officially jumped the shark. Rated: 1/5 May 19, 2007 Full Review Scott Brown Entertainment Weekly Here's a sobering thought: If every war gets the comedy it deserves, could Delta Farce, a strenuously unfunny Three Amigos knockoff, be our M*A*S*H? Rated: D- May 16, 2007 Full Review John Lekich Georgia Straight If you've read this far and still want to see Delta Farce, just be warned. Things tend to get ugly, even when nothing blows up. Jul 6, 2010 Full Review Brett Michel Boston Phoenix Dropping quietly into theaters like a sneak attack on brain cells and good taste, C.B. Harding's rickety vehicle for Blue Collar Comedy is among the first films to mine the endless War on Terror for laughs. Rated: 0/4 Jul 6, 2010 Full Review Kit Bowen Hollywood.com What it really boils down to is whether you're a fan of Larry the Cable Guy. If so, you'll (I would hope) realize you're watching a pretty stupid comedy but will laugh in the appropriate parts. Rated: 2/5 Nov 20, 2008 Full Review Read all reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member I loved this movie it was funny as hell Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review cees t Not as farcical as advertised, but more realistic than The A-Team. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I don't know what everyone has a problem with. I really enjoyed this movie, it had some great humour and a fantastic interesting plot, the acting was great. This has got to be one of my favourite movies of all time Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member There are bad movies just as there are bad songs, books, poems, and people. Yet, there is a audience for each of those works or humans, someone who will enjoy or agree with them for some reason. Delta Farce accepted this challenge and created a film that no could like. And I mean at the level that a mother would not defend their child or a stripper won't laugh at your joke level of rejection. Our "film" manages to pair two southern comedians/actors who would bring with them a more conservative viewership to the party and proceeds to shove anti-Bush era/anti-Middle East conflict propaganda down their throats for what seemed to be an eighteen hour movie. Liberals, especially those overeducated pansies I always hear about, are not spared. The Farce is packed anti-woke jokes thanks to their racist Mexican caricatures and tasteless homosexual representations. Moreover, it is actually a remake of The Three Amigos, proving that we have regressed in our art as much as our values. Delta Farce is an example of how we sound when our unfiltered/unchallenged minds have a sounding board. Now you might think I am bashing on this film, but I am actually its champion. It is brilliant in that regardless of what defines you as a human being we all have one undeniable commonality, we hate Delta Farce. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews
