If you enjoy a mix of comedy and horror definitely check out Demon Squad: Tooth and Claw. It's got top notch writing, an amazing (and *not* AI generated) score, enjoyable characters and an original plot. Love what they did with some of the unexpected twists. There's too much actual horror out there in the world, why not spend 97 minutes smiling along with a movie that's got horror with heart? Tooth and Claw continues with the supernatural detective agency theme and characters introduced in the first Demon Squad, but watching the original is not necessary to enjoy this movie. While the original was a film noir detective movie with a supernatural theme, Tooth and Claw is a more modern detective movie with supernatural themes. There's drama, suspense, action, and just the right touch of humor. I must also highlight the excellent soundtrack by Soren Odom. It adds depth and feeling that fits perfectly with the action on screen. It's as good as any soundtrack out there. There are few places where the tiny budget shows up. Places where there is a slight echo in the dialog because the filming location was not a sound stage. Or a demon character in a mask instead of a Hellboy level makeup job.
