09/06/2010 Movie based on book by Ingvar Ambjørnsen (who wrote the "Elling" series) about two dope heads & dealers with a big plan of distributing 45 kg of fine Nepalese pot... Doesn't go completely to plan, but works out somehow. Something between comedy and drama, I guess. Not an classic by any means, but fair enough. See more 01/10/2010 This film was better than what I had expected. I've had it around for ages (borrowed, cough) but finally decided to watch it so that I could give it back to its owner. The story is about a friendship between two young men in 1979's Oslo, at the end of the hippi era which they don't want to let go of. They even have great plans for the future, involving joints... Funny and weird--and Conradi has a great scene at the end of the film. Absolutely recommended. See more 11/08/2009 An interesting time travel back 1979, as the final hippies met with reality. The movie has some great camerawork, and since I hadn't read the book I found the storyline quite interesting. The acting is passable, but the soundtrack is not particularly inspired.
