The super toxic masculinity of every character taints the otherwise decent heist movie, with the twist providing a stronger than usual rationale for our required, third act shoot out. It was no "Heat" (and clearly took inspiration from that classic during the shootout) but it was well shot (pun intended) and choreographed. I can't tell if Gerard Butler is a terrible actor, or a good one who has terrible taste in the movies he chooses, but his dirty cop was more convincing than his King Leonidas at least.
