Descendants 2 captures the same quirky, colorful Disney magic that made the first film such a hit, while adding even more style and personality. Bringing China Anne McClain in as Uma was a brilliant move, and her portrayal—paired with the idea of Ursula’s legacy continuing through a powerful Black daughter—adds depth and energy to the story. Her partnership with Hook’s son sets up one of the best musical and dance numbers Disney has produced in years. Dove Cameron and Sofia Carson shine once again, slipping effortlessly back into their characters, while Booboo Stewart and Cameron Boyce deliver incredible choreography that elevates every scene they touch. Kristin Chenoweth and Kathy Najimy continue to embody Maleficent and the Evil Queen with flair, proving how perfectly cast they are. What makes the film work is its balance—fun, quirky humor without losing heart or intelligence. The screenplay and direction keep the world vibrant and engaging, making Descendants 2 just as magical

Estoy claro que no tiene lo mismo que la 1era entrega, y no hay problema, igual tiene algo de calidad, algo no esperado en el inicio, una historia y trama infantil para los niños que será buena para pasar un rato, y ese toque de preocupación familiar que lo caracteriza :)

The soundtrack in this movie was elite. I love the story and I love the introduction of Uma! This is my favorite descendants movie as a kid and Stella is to this day fantastic movie and everything was developed well. The only issue I guess with this movie I have is just how the whole boat ship scene and a lot of the times when they’re on water you can tell that it’s just a green screen but just look past that in the movie is fabulous
