Rather than extend the epic sweep of this picture into the cosmic ineffable, he just wants the viewer bouncing along and rooting for its female hero. And the film succeeds admirably in this respect. Go to Full Review

While the story onscreen is dull and the performances uninspired, it’s the story around Desert Warrior that solidifies it as a strange chapter in a country’s self-promotional history. Go to Full Review

Though no disaster, Desert Warrior is probably the last thing its producers wanted from their blockbuster spend: a mostly boring, mostly forgettable movie. Go to Full Review

MRenee 46m Excellent story, based on true events of a nation we rarely see stories of. Only think I get it lacked was a better music score. Anthony Mackie and Ben Kingsley wouldnt steer you wrong! See more Eugenia 5h It was to much killing. See more Kenneth P 6h Generic movie with its plot revolving around a conflict between tribes in the middle east, and a 'stranger' that helps along the way. Wait for streaming See more Bobby 7h Many of the characters were alive, real, authentic, rather than just acted. This is what makes a film for me. The tensions were very real at times, whether for torture, capture, enslavement, death, or even slaughter, and often against enormous odds. The plot reminds us of what we are capable as a society working for a greater good far above individual interests, whether selfish or just short-sighted, when we may be given a chance to literally change the world. Communication, trust, and priority are all essential keys when uniting us across seemingly major differences. However, all too typical of hollywood, the biggest distraction was the use of stunts that simply defy physics and the laws of nature. Nothing added, but points deducted. See more Yea boy 7h Fell asleep a few times, boring a movie, no action whatsoever. Didnt finish the movie, I had to walk out. See more Randall 7h To be honest, I was confused throughout, and at times bored. There needs to be some kind of intro with historical context. See more Read all reviews
