SkyRo P One of the most disappointing films I've seen in ages is "Desperate Riders," featuring country music star Trace Adkins in a role that clearly doesn't suit him. The movie felt incredibly disjointed and chaotic, lacking any coherent flow. The performances were subpar at best, leaving viewers bewildered by the confusing narrative steeped in a Western theme. It seemed as though no one involved truly connected with the material, resulting in a jarring back-and-forth that made it hard to invest in the characters. The acting was simply lacking. A significant portion of the film's shortcomings can be attributed to the dreadful script. The writing was so poor that it did a disservice to the cast, who deserved much better. The whole production came off as a complete and utter mess. In my opinion, this is a film you can safely skip without any regret. It's one of those movies that you won't miss out on, as it’s just that bad. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/10/25 Full Review Michael C My dad likes to watch this channel and loves westerns, but he and I couldn't stop giggling about how awful the acting was in this movie. So, so low budget....modern clothes, modern fences and buildings, digital snow that doesn't collect anywhere, just awful. Anyway, the positive, we bonded by laughing at all of this stuff. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/24 Full Review Melissa C HORRIBLE acting. Directors need a new career also. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/29/23 Full Review Liz M Sadly even with Trace Adkins and Tom Berrenger this movie was just awful. Awful acting, awful special effects, snowy fields that aren't really snowing, car tracks in the grass, for Western this was really awful. Highly disappointed. I'm only giving it two stars just because Tom berenger and Trace Adkins were in it but save yourself the trouble and watch something different Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/21/23 Full Review julian h REALLY UNEXCITING AND POOR STORY LINE.
