Andy H If you have even half a brain in your head avoid this dreadful movie at all cost. I haven't done my research but I would say it's a bit like a failed soft porn director thought he could make a thriller. The acting from the main character, who also happens to be the director, makes Tarantino look like Brando. The script is almost unintentionally hilarious. The direction reminded me of a bad 70s B-movie and the soundtrack ranges from Disney to 1940s horror. An absolute car crash of a movie. I don't know about desperate waters.
