Audience Member This is a Amitabh and Om Puri are excellent in this look at Hindu-Muslim violence. While there are graphic scenes of violence, they are not overwhelming for those who have seen a few war movies. The real story develops outside of the riots, both before and after, and it is well done. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member powerful Bollywood drama Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member This was barely ok. I wouldn't pay much for watching it though, as it reviews rather common themes in Indian films; glorified cops and the Hindu-Muslim interaction. Besides, the music was not appealing at all, and the story left too many unanswered questions and incomplete ramification stories leaving the audience wondering what's is the background or what is going on. I felt the acting was respectable from the older actors Amitabh and Om Puri, but the rest were bad! such terrible tragedies and... 'like nothing' not well-developed characters and bad but pretty looking actors. Some images were pretty I have to admit, but the glorification of that one good cop and the constant perfect character Amitabh plays in so many movies got too old. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member one of the best contemporary film with amitabh at one of his best performance.also kareena is commendable.govind nihalni at his best in this qite underrated film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Too long & Too political to enjoy watching ! i really really got bored but i liked the plot though ! Fardeen Khan & Kareena Kapoor did well in the movie ! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Interesting story plot. This movie centralizes around two close friends, Dev and Tej. Both are police officers, and each with different views. Conflicts of politics and beliefs stand to divide their friendship, despite years of grief and support. Great cast- Amitabh Bachchan, Om Puri, Fardeen Khan, Kareena Kapoor, and Rati Agnihotri. Worthy! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
