Audience Member Before Sharktopus, there was DEVILFISH! A ridiculous, but fun Italian exploitation flick. Such shameless displays to find any reason to show off some boobs can only be found in movies like this. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/10/20 Full Review Audience Member On its own, this movie is horrible in every respect from terrible acting to atrocious editing & a weak script. BUT, the reason for the decent star rating is because I am a huge fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000 & this made for a great episode. Very fun to watch with MST3K because the worse the movie the better the episode. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member To think this movie was ripped off for Sharktopuss, above average MST3K episode mainly because of all the jokes about it being an Italian film made in Florida. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Do not waste your time unless it's the Mystery Science Theater presentation. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member The horrific American edit (with its copious dissolves, superimpositions and step-processing) makes perfect MST3K fodder but, for anyone who doesn't know a not tinkered-with version exists, makes it seem the filmmakers are absolute incompetents. If you're gonna watch this sans SOL commentary, do yourself a favor and track down the international version (bearing the title Monster Shark). It's still every bit as silly but not nearly as frustrating an experience. A fun Italian Jaws knock-off. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member The worst editing in movie history. One of the worst actings ever and screenplays. The worst victms of this movie is actually his audience. But funny because is terrible. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews
