10/10/2020 Before Sharktopus, there was DEVILFISH! A ridiculous, but fun Italian exploitation flick. Such shameless displays to find any reason to show off some boobs can only be found in movies like this. See more 05/16/2019 On its own, this movie is horrible in every respect from terrible acting to atrocious editing & a weak script. BUT, the reason for the decent star rating is because I am a huge fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000 & this made for a great episode. Very fun to watch with MST3K because the worse the movie the better the episode. See more 08/04/2014 The horrific American edit (with its copious dissolves, superimpositions and step-processing) makes perfect MST3K fodder but, for anyone who doesn't know a not tinkered-with version exists, makes it seem the filmmakers are absolute incompetents. If you're gonna watch this sans SOL commentary, do yourself a favor and track down the international version (bearing the title Monster Shark). It's still every bit as silly but not nearly as frustrating an experience. A fun Italian Jaws knock-off. See more 05/14/2014 The worst editing in movie history.
