Phil Hoad Guardian No opportunity for crass emotional manipulation, deadweight exposition or cornball reversals is left undisturbed. Rated: 1/5 Sep 9, 2020 Full Review Bobby LePire Film Threat Maurice Hurley's screenplay is excellent in establishing all the characters and the backstory behind the demonic attacks. Rated: D Jun 26, 2020 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film With an ending that smacks of primary school first attempts at fiction, this has to go down as one of the year's silliest horror films. IAN P Wow this movie is laughably bad. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/24/24 Full Review rob l I mean, it's not good, but I laughed several times. How they got a couple legitimate actors in this bewilders me. At one point the whole family is headed toward certain death, and it looks like a Mentos commercial. Then after grandpa dies, they argue over who gets to take a shower first. LOL, nobody cares about grandpa... Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review victor o What the heck was I thinking? The only reason I wanted to watch this was to check out Jeri Ryan. I thought it might have been nice to see William Shatner and what Jason Brooks is doing with his career, but I was wrong. Jason Brooks plays an archeologist who is plagued with horrible nightmares concerning an ancient relic that his family has been searching for. This relic has been tied to the family to the point that the son and father have become estranged via the fear that this has cursed their family and the horror of this curse is too powerful to destroy. But the family from the patriarch played by William Shatner to the father's wife and children do their part to fight this to the very end. Oh boy, this was bad. Terrible in every way - acting, storytelling, costumes, everything. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member As a long-time Star Trek fan, I was disappointed to find William Shatner and Jeri Ryan starring in a movie with few redeeming features. It is a long, hard slog to sit all the way through this one. If I were you, I wouldn't bother. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
