ASS. Doom scrolling for 90 mins would've been less of a waste of time. For an indie production, it holds up fairly well and delivers a solid twist. That said, the horror elements feel a bit delayed—I would’ve preferred more sustained tension earlier on, as the scares seem concentrated toward the latter half. Diabolic pulls you into a Mormon horror world you don’t see very often. The visuals are beautiful. The score is perfectly eerie. And Elizabeth Cullen was amazing. A solid slow burn horror film.
