An effective slow-burn horror that takes its time escalating -- but it does get there. I found the character psychology kind of pat, and one late revelation ridiculous. But this is otherwise a decent, sober-sided possession tale.

I have seen too many really good possession and folk horror movies to be wooed by Diabolic. When you have seen movies like The Exorcist, The Witch, The Possession of Emily Rose, When Evil Lurks, Terrified, this one feels kinda generic. ,

I really enjoyed diabolic. I wish I could’ve seen it in theater cause of the dark scenes were hard to see but overall it was a great movie to watch. Scary and creepy all the way until the end. I recommend to watch it.

Elizabeth Cullen is so strong in this film, her performance gave me chills. John Kim and Mia Challis were amazing too. Loved the bloodbath at the end!
