SICKS6SIX S 65% from me, Heston is the archetypical hypocrite and he acts the part well I'm not a fan of Heston, I don't put him among the great actors and at times this film is cringy and creepy, it's not a Saturday night family film it is more a Tuesday afternoon film, supporting cast didn't win any awards nor did the director, its a bit of a dud even with the locations the cinematic feel to the film is as if the actors are standing in front of postcards of Hawaii and not actually on the Island, it cost a lot of money to make and I'm guessing that was on wages, hotels, flights and expense accounts because it wasn't spent on the production of the film that's for sure, Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/19/24 Full Review Audience Member A long and boring movie Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Charlton Heston is a controlling Hawaiian plantation owner in this rather boring soap opera. Yvette Mimieux plays his also head strong sister. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review ashley h Diamond Head is a decent film. It is about rich Hawaiian pineapple grower and US Senatorial candidate Richard Howland who tries to control everything and everyone around him. Charlton Heston and France Nuyen give good performances. The screenplay is a little slow in places. Guy Green did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion pictures because of the drama. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Good old fashioned trash wallow with beautiful location shooting and some ridiculous casting choices. Moondoggie as an Hawaiian? Really? Still fun in a lush soap operaish way. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Charlton Heston plays a pineapple land baron in this movie who owns one of the smaller Islands of Hawaii and nothing happens without his approval including his sister marring a local raised Hawaiian which is strictly taboo and unheard off. Modern day reviewers try to make this all about racism White vs Hawaiian and nothing could be further from the truth. Charlton Heston little sister ends up getting killed by the hands of Heston but strictly an accident. If you were ever in Hawaii and lived there you know the only racism is the native Hawaiians' don't accept the whites from mainland USA. But still in my book this film is 5 stars 10-2-12 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
