What to Know

Critics Consensus

Didn't Die mixes lo-fi visuals, humor, and horror effectively, but uneven pacing and a slight premise keep its drama from fully landing.

It is a zombie movie with no zest. No thrill, no stakes, and no meaning. Go to Full Review

The look is distinctly lo-fi -- so was Romero’s “Night of the Living Dead” -- but the blend of humour and horror is high value. Go to Full Review

Mandy G @greenm 5d A zombie film that goes beyond standard tropes. Come for the zombies and stay for the strong character arcs and relationship dynamics that explore the heart of what truly matters—people and humanity. See more Pamela L @PJLakes 6d Didn’t Die is a thinking person’s zombie movie. While it has its share of thrills, this is a character-driven film that focuses on how ordinary people adapt to their world changing. It is both humorous and poignant, and the acting is excellent. Most of the movie is filmed in black and white, which provides an eerie quality and contributes to the artistry of the amazing cinematography. Can’t wait to see more films from Director Meera Menon!
