Hannah Cronk Film Threat For anyone who loves slasher films that are unapologetically over the top, inventive, and packed with practical effects, this is a film that demands attention. Rated: 8/10 Sep 18, 2025 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies “Die’ced: Reloaded” maintains a certain B-movie charm that’s hard to deny. And despite its obvious budget constraints, Rudd, along with his special effects coordinators Jason Brooks and Joe Castro, know what slasher fans want. Rated: 2.5/5 Aug 22, 2025 Full Review Abbie Bernstein Assignment X Committedly brutal '80s-set slasher. Rated: B- Aug 11, 2025 Full Review Samantha McLaren MovieJawn The score feels like a B-side to Stranger Things (2016–present) and some of the hair is lightly teased, but either through budget constraints or a lack of imagination, Die’ced: Reloaded never feels like a true ’80s throwback either in style or substance. TheMovieSearch R Dieced Reloaded feels like one of those horror movies that had the potential to become something interesting but completely lost itself in execution. There’s a villain here—a scarecrow-meets-clown hybrid—that could’ve been iconic if handled with more restraint and creativity. Instead, the film leans into such goofy absurdity that the character loses every ounce of menace he could’ve had. What should’ve been eerie or unsettling ends up coming across as unintentionally funny, stripping away any fear factor the movie hoped to achieve. From the very beginning, it’s clear that the direction is chaotic. The pacing jumps all over the place, and the tone never quite settles. It’s as if the film couldn’t decide whether it wanted to be a genuine horror story or a campy parody. The result feels amateurish, more like a student project than a fully realized feature. And while low-budget horror can absolutely work when handled with creativity and heart, Dieced Reloaded doesn’t use its limitations to its advantage—it just looks and feels unfinished. The screenplay is a mess from start to finish. The story spends far too much time following the lead girl through drawn-out, repetitive sequences where nothing significant happens, while the supposed villain barely appears. When he does, the suspense is immediately undercut by awkward blocking, sloppy editing, and over-the-top physicality that makes the entire scene laughable. That infamous living room showdown is the perfect example—what should be a tense fight turns into something resembling a slapstick routine, complete with tumbles and exaggerated movements that ruin any sense of danger. The casting doesn’t help matters either. The lead performance is bland, offering little emotional depth or believability, and the supporting cast feels just as disconnected. It’s hard to care about anyone when the dialogue feels like it was written on the fly and delivered without conviction. The villain, despite his potentially creepy design, is the biggest disappointment. His costume and makeup suggest menace, but his mannerisms and execution erase any intimidation he could’ve had. It’s frustrating, because beneath all the chaos, there’s a glimpse of what Dieced Reloaded could’ve been—a fun, eerie slasher with a visually distinctive killer. But instead, it squanders that opportunity with poor direction, bad writing, and tonal inconsistency. Even the scares are mishandled; instead of dread, you get awkward silence or cheap jump cuts that don’t land. At the end of the day, Dieced Reloaded feels like a parody of itself—trying so hard to be terrifying that it circles back around to unintentional comedy. It’s neither scary nor memorable, and it certainly doesn’t carve out a legacy for its villain. If you’re curious, it’s a “watch once and forget it” type of film. Otherwise, you’re not missing much. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/24/25 Full Review Franlesky I The worst horror movie, bad visual effects, even the blood looked fake, bad actors, unrealistic illogical plot, no sense, a total waste, thank goodness it only lasts 1 hour, torture to watch it Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/10/25 Full Review Jason W Still not certain if this is meant to be silly and campy or if I'm supposed to take it serious. Total Terrifier parody vibes, down to the cafe scene ripped right from the pizzaria, the "warrior" girl with friends at a Halloween party. From what I recall, the short film prior to this was horrid, and this updated version doesn't progress much further. The acting is brutal. My least favorite scene was the woman who had her hands nailed to floor and was completely paralyzed for some reason and acted like it didn't even hurt, even when her hand was chopped off, she just laid there silent. Eden James was a saving grace and the scenes with Cass and her family were good because they actually deliver lines without sounding like reading lines. As for Art the Scarecrow, the make up is good, and I like Jason Brooks. Kills are ok and special fx are pretty good. I felt some scenes lingered in order to reach full length runtime status. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/14/25 Full Review Brock V As a massive fan of B-movie slashers, this one was hit and miss. Some awesome kills and Benny’s costume is fantastic. The acting is what you’d expect, honestly maybe even a little better. The pacing and sound design of the movie is the issue. It jumps all over and instead of taking its time and setting an atmosphere, it rushes to the next scene. At only 1h 21m, it’s short and very fun, and I’m sure with more films, the director will hone his craft a bit more. Overall it was a good time and don’t take it too seriously. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/31/25 Full Review Audience Member This is awful. Watched a lot of movies even the B rated. I paid to watch this and didn’t finish it. Nope. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/30/25 Full Review Sean F Good horror flick. Would definitely recommend. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/27/25 Full Review Read all reviews
