Angie M This has to be the best dinosaur movie I've ever seen. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/05/23 Full Review Bethany B Brilliant movie. For the first time in years, me and my family decided to watch a movie together. We haven't connected like that in a long time, not since the incident. As we watched Speckle's journey I realized that we all haven't sat in a room like this together as a family in a very long time. This dino sewed the broken pieces of my family back together, something that I didn't know would be possible after all this time. I owe my life and my family's renewed bond to this movie, we watch this movie every year on August second 2018 after our initial viewing. It is now our family tradition and we decorate the house and bake dino-themed desserts to celebrate. I can't thank this movie enough. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/15/23 Full Review Matt Z Too sad, not a good kids movie or movie in general. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Speckles: The Tarbosaurus is a masterpiece, but although it had fun and emotional twists, the voice acting annoys me, but just a bit. And there are some inaccuracies, but it also makes the movie a little more touching, and this is a thing we shouldn't worry about in the world of cinema. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Dino King/Speckles the Tarbosaurus is good dinosaur film that has decent effects, a good score, and a sad story about Love, Death, Revenge, and Survival. It only suffers from the dated effects, obnoxious voice acting for baby Speckles and the excessive appearances of the villian being bad. Rating: B- Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member A movie which, while satisfying in some parts, falls short in others. In the beginning, the main character is SUPER annoying and his family is poorly developed. Since the main character is the only character with narration, any other character you really couldn't give two craps about. The other dinosaurs just, lack personality. They try too hard to make the bad guy, well, bad. And they try pretty terribly to convince us some dinosaurs are bad. In one part of the movie they call velociraptors "Horrible Creeps" for hunting on weak dinosaurs. Well guess what? The main character is a carnivore, so it hunts on the weak dinosaurs. The CGI is mediocre, and the movie is just too unrealistic to be good. But, the second half of the movie is much more satisfying, the second half was actually quite entertaining, and could have bumped my rating up to 4 stars if the beginning wasn't so bad. Honestly though, the ending just felt incomplete and empty. I would love this movie if it was remade with better CGI, more dinosaurs got narrated, and a lot of plot holes got filled in. Otherwise, satisfying movie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews
