We haven't connected like that in a long time, not since the incident. As we watched Speckle's journey I realized that we all haven't sat in a room like this together as a family in a very long time. This dino sewed the broken pieces of my family back together, something that I didn't know would be possible after all this time. I owe my life and my family's renewed bond to this movie, we watch this movie every year on August second 2018 after our initial viewing. It is now our family tradition and we decorate the house and bake dino-themed desserts to celebrate. I can't thank this movie enough. It only suffers from the dated effects, obnoxious voice acting for baby Speckles and the excessive appearances of the villian being bad.
