American spy Steve Mitchell (Peter Weller) embarks on a secret mission to defuse a hidden Cold War--era bomb in a Romanian embassy. Aided by his old flame, Erica Long (Daryl Hannah), Mitchell winds up in an even more dangerous scenario when terrorists take control of the embassy and create a tense hostage situation.
