Audience Member I saw this film at FilmFest DC many years ago. It struck a chord with me because I've always fantasized about just disappearing. It's a shame that it never made it to wider release in the US. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Bit of a strange film about the an Irish boys disappearance & his childhood friend going to find him in Sweden. JRM plays this angst ridden teen very well even though the story line was a bit weak. To be honest I think I only stuck with it because of JRM. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member One of my all time favorite movies. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member A great Sunday afternoon watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Irland& Sweden! I first saw this movie when I was quite young, and then again when I was older, and I still liked it a lot. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member This is the dullest road movie ever. It is just one long travelling montage. The story is so simple that I will (not) ruin this film for you now - kid goes missing and his best friend tries to find him alone. It doesn't get anymore exciting than that. It is full of crap adolescent fantasies about getting away. There are two fit women in it. It is far too boring to be watched. The ending resolves nothing - Finbar just disappears again. So the end is just the beginning again but there is no more story. Really crap waste of time that should not be watched - Sue Clayton learn from this not to end a film with the beginning of the same film - the watcher feels cheated. In one word: Dull Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews
