Steve D Everyone seems to be going through the motions. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/04/24 Full Review Luis d 40 minutes of listless ramp-up...arrgh. Do youself a favor and watch Sliver (1993) instead. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/05/23 Full Review Jeffrey P Slow burn suspense horror that is well made and has its focus in the right place. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/12/23 Full Review Devils A Not even the great actress Christina Ricci can save this movie, it's so boring and contrite that I could just barely hang on until the end! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Ricci's performance is very good. Unfortunately, that performance is within the confines of this movie. Her performance is simply not enough to carry the audience through the long stretches of flashback, looking around warily, and walking through the house. The concept was solid, but poorly executed by the director. The ending was just thrown at the audience in the end without much of a connection with the rest of the movie. I don't think the ending was thoroughly thought out. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Noel Murray Los Angeles Times Ricci is convincingly terrified in a film that's never scary enough to justify her performance. Jun 21, 2018 Full Review John Higgins Starburst Thanks to Ricci's excellent performance as Lauren and Cusack's balanced supporting role, Disjointed will certainly find favour with fans of classic Canadian cult offerings. Rated: 7/10 Jan 29, 2019 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film [Christina] Ricci is impressive, however, working hard with what she's got to create a character we can believe in even when what's happening to and around her stretches credulity. Rated: 2.5/5 Jan 24, 2019 Full Review Alex Arabian Film Inquiry Distorted leaves viewers with a disjointed, unoriginal story, a made-for-TV feel, and underwhelming thrills, with the only saving graces being the presence of Ricci and Cusack. Jan 19, 2019 Full Review Niall Browne Movies in Focus A frustratingly terrible paranoia thriller, Distorted manages to waste a potentially intriguing premise and the star power of Christina Ricci and John Cusack. Rated: 1/5 Jan 19, 2019 Full Review Brian Orndorf Blu-ray.com "Distorted" plays one too many tricks, and its casting is abysmal. Rated: D Jun 28, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
