Lisa Nesselson Variety A message-based actioner that's fast, dumb fun. Jun 6, 2007 Full Review Jonathan Rosenbaum Chicago Reader I was delighted by the balletic and acrobatic stunts, some of which evoke Tarzan. Jun 6, 2007 Full Review Peter Bradshaw Guardian A 90-minute feature simply showing [David] Belle's stunts with no frills would be great; unfortunately, they only account for about 10 minutes - the rest of the time, Belle is called upon to act. Rated: 2/5 Jul 8, 2006 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review Comparable to Jackie Chan in his heyday, these actors have the charisma, humor, and ability to advance themselves from stuntmen to stars, and they advance this movie from another dull actioner to must-see entertainment. Rated: 3/4 Aug 22, 2023 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com By returning to true action instead of CGI gimmicks or fake stunts, Morel has crafted a film that is electrifying to watch. Rated: 2.5/4.0 Sep 6, 2020 Full Review Dorothy Woodend The Tyee (British Columbia) Urban ills are pretty much the same worldwide. But it's the very Frenchness of the film that makes it amusant. Unlike a typical American actioner, the villain is not a megalomaniacal genius, nor a corporate overlord; it's the civil servants. . . Aug 23, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews

Logan D In the near future, the French government has isolated a crime filled ghetto. However, there are still good but tough persons in there. When one's sister gets kidnapped, he will risk his life to get her back. Belle is the founder and leading pioneer of Parkour. His impressive skills are on full display in this film as well as those of Raffaelli, a karate and wushu practitioner. This is a high octane thriller, full of action. The story is standard stuff and the acting okay. But rating it as an action film I'd give it an 8/10. Recommended Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/26/23 Full Review Carlos T Minha opinião: Esta é a1ª versão, creio que seja um filme francês. Vale apena assistir? It also features the best parkour scenes I've ever seen in 🎬. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/28/22 Full Review Audience Member French action revenge film full of parkour, shoot-outs, ridiculous dialogues, and social/political commentary. I've heard about this movie for years and I don't regret watching it, but it's not for everyone.
