03/17/2018 An exceptional film showing man's ability to deal with tragedy. The ultimate buddy movie. So interesting to see the stoic characters live through such traumatic events. What you see is real footage of: the rescue operation; of the divers who lost their lives in the cave (prior to starting their fatal dive); from a television news show where Norwegian authorities speak of how difficult the retrieval of the bodies would be; of the dive operation being planned and executed - below and above water. This is a masterly-crafted movie, as relevant as can be. See more 05/19/2017 A cave dive goes horribly wrong; and two members of the expedition die. This documentary focuses on the rescue mission which was conducted after the incident, to bring the two lost diving friends back to the surface for a proper burial.
