Jeremy L This one had potential, but it doesn’t quite hit the mark. The idea of a hypochondriac stuck in a hostage situation is brilliant, but the execution ends up being a mixed bag. Sure, some jokes work (Oliver fumbling around pretending to be a doctor had its moments), but a lot of the humor feels forced or stale. The movie keeps a steady pace and the actors are likable, but the whole thing winds up feeling just okay rather than truly great. Even my teenagers, who are usually hard to impress, couldn’t stop laughing at the ridiculous clinic shenanigans. There’s plenty of slapstick and witty banter, so everyone found something to enjoy.
