Anupama Chopra Hindustan Times Writer-director Abhishek Dogra and co-writer Umashankar Singh take a somewhat silly story, add crackling dialogue and sharp characters, and serve up dollops of laughs. Rated: 3.5/5 Jan 9, 2017 Full Review Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express Ultimately, Dolly Ki Doli is neither biting social comment, nor unfettered fun. Rated: 1.5/5 Apr 15, 2015 Full Review Shilpa Jamkhandikar Reuters Dolly Ki Doli is a breezy watch, one that is salvaged largely because it knows how to deliver smart lines and, most importantly, knows when to end. Jun 26, 2017 Full Review Nandini Ramnath Scroll.in The movie's greatest advantage is its business-like interest in racing to the end credits. Hindi romcoms usually stretch on like historical epics. Jun 21, 2016 Full Review Ujala Ali Khan The National (UAE) If all you're looking for is some laughs, then the ensemble cast will ensure you get the bang for your buck. Rated: 3/5 May 5, 2015 Full Review Madhureeta Mukherjee The Times of India Debutant director Abhishek Dogra's con-bride story is simple and refreshing. It's filled with some laughable moments, hilarious performances and quirky characters. Rated: 3/5 Apr 15, 2015 Full Review Read all reviews

Venkatesh R Even a D grade movie would have been better than this .Nonsense story. No proper climax or ending. it's a movie which never should have been made. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/19/22 Full Review Audience Member This is a raw, priceless film. While it provides masala, mainstream fun, it builds on its plot and characters. Writer and filmmaker Abhishek Dogra has constructed beautifully the character of Dolly, played effectively by Sonam Kapoor, who takes down her husbands. Rajkummar Rao is worthy as the Haryanvi husband of Dolly, and the characters playing the family bits leave you with a smile on your face. But above all, 'Dolly ki Doli' is a winner because of its sharp script and an entertaining story which is, actually, based on true events. Definitely more than a one-time watch. It's consuming ultimately and unforgettable. Yes, it is bloated and silly, with logic-defying the other way down. But its cultural references make it a special film. This looteri dulhan is absolutely fun. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Ahmed M The film feels like a story Bollywood has seen multiple times, despite that it still remains somewhat entertaining here and there. Also, the performances by the actors are not-good, and the comedy is barely funny. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/28/16 Full Review Audience Member The movie sticks to its simple, core concept right to the end - the concept that is known even from the story's description above in the first seven words. There is nothing more and as a result it gets stretched at times, but it is cute and has moments. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Day: Monday Date: 30 Mar 2015 Time: 9.30 pm With: Maa, Azeem On: HDTV Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Entertaining but a silly story line Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
