Hafsa B one of the best Comedy- Romance movies. absolutely great! <3 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/08/23 Full Review Shirley C Couldn't get any more charisma if you tried after watching this delightful film. I'm on my fourth round of revisits. Johnny Depp was superb as Don Juan DeMarco and Marlon Brando (the future Johnny Depp no doubt) was a joy to watch. I'm utterly shocked this film didn't fly off the charts. Like Princess Bride, Don Juan De Marco is sure to become, if it hasn't already, a cult classic that will be watched again and again through the ages. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/22/23 Full Review Deborah M Johnny Depp is magnifico as Don Juan! This is a wonderfully sensuous comedy that titillates our minds as to what life could be like if we see through the eyes of love. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Un viaje hermoso, de esos que te hacen decidir el destino al final de todo. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review renaldo d The romanticism is extraordinary, not counting the script very well written to the point of becoming Parnassian. However, the performances are not pleasing. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Arif T Simple story portrayed delightfully. Sheila Johnston Independent (UK) The film has its slow patches, and its fragile illusion probably doesn't stand up to close scrutiny. But, mostly, it dances on a very fine knife's edge between charm and absurdity, an irresistible paean to the art of kiss-kiss. Apr 25, 2019 Full Review Peter Travers Rolling Stone The movie itself is never as good as it should be, owing to Leven's lifeless staging. Mar 4, 2019 Full Review Peter Rainer Los Angeles Times For the film to work, we'd have to be in denial... and it's just not magical enough for that. Mar 4, 2019 Full Review Quentin Crisp Christopher Street Mr. Brando is now a picturesque ruin, but he is just as magnetic as of old. May 26, 2022 Full Review Mark Jackson Epoch Times Ultimately, the inspiration that underlies the whole film is the magic of discovering the sublime in the superficial by dedicating one's life to living perfectly in the moment. Rated: 4/5 May 3, 2022 Full Review Mal Vincent The Virginian-Pilot Before you start clutching this newspaper and panting, be aware that I am writing here about a comedy - a very rare comedy, that dares to play itself seriously and to take unusual risks.
