Phil Hoad Guardian Bafaro has undeniable technique up his sleeve, but he lets himself gaze too unblinkingly on horror predecessors. Rated: 2/5 Sep 18, 2023 Full Review Anton Bitel Little White Lies “Frankie, this is your dream”, Jonah says, inadvertently decoding the nightmarish illogic of this horror from director/co-writer Micheal Bafaro Sep 15, 2023 Full Review Lisa Johnson Mandell AtHomeInHollywood.com Director Micheal Bafaro co-wrote Don’t Look Away with actor Michael Mitton make a good team. Despite a low budget and obscure actors, they crafted a smart script that carries through with striking cinematography, effective music, and eerie sound design. Oct 31, 2023 Full Review William Schwartz Willamette Week Unfortunately, the mannequin is most interesting mechanically, and Don’t Look Away doesn’t really get into that at all, implying that its powers can be undermined with mirrors but never clearly explaining how or why. Rated: 2/4 Oct 18, 2023 Full Review Steven Warner In Review Online A one-note thriller that mistakes derivation for homage at every turn. Sep 1, 2023 Full Review Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru Palpably scary, atmospheric and thrilling. It's one of the best horror films of the year. Aug 28, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Juandi The people giving this good ratings must be getting paid. The acting is so bad. The script is even worse. The edit was laughable. In fact, a man sitting a few seats from me kept chucking throughout the movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/04/23 Full Review Ben W Some movies are so bad that they’re fun. This movie… it’s just a bit boring. The acting and writing is truly terrible. Definitely could have been fun if it wasn’t so underwhelming. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 09/02/23 Full Review Ruthie H No, whoever gave this movie a good rating is paid. It's a 4.5 on Prime which is laughable. This is god awful. I thought it would be something like the absolutely phenomenal shortfilm on YOUTUBE by the same title but oh no. Horrendous movie.🤣🤣🤣 This movie should be negative stars... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/17/24 Full Review Regina W Some horror movies are scary, some are gross, some are weird this one could be a little of all. I mean if you have to be afraid on an inanimate object why not a manican? Rated 2 out of 5 stars 09/03/24 Full Review John L It feels like a 70’s horror movie the dialog is lacking and character development is lacking. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/12/24 Full Review Audience Member I like the idea of this film, but the style of it is out of date. It's as if the creators didn't realize that hipster culture is dead (thank God). Characters try to explain too much like "You've got big college plans, then we'll get married. It's all we've wanted!" And that's supposed to make us invested in characters. Too hipster and no character development equals watching cheezy people you're not worried about get terrorized.
