Phil Hoad Guardian Bafaro has undeniable technique up his sleeve, but he lets himself gaze too unblinkingly on horror predecessors. Rated: 2/5 Sep 18, 2023 Full Review Anton Bitel Little White Lies “Frankie, this is your dream”, Jonah says, inadvertently decoding the nightmarish illogic of this horror from director/co-writer Micheal Bafaro Sep 15, 2023 Full Review Lisa Johnson Mandell AtHomeInHollywood.com Director Micheal Bafaro co-wrote Don’t Look Away with actor Michael Mitton make a good team. Despite a low budget and obscure actors, they crafted a smart script that carries through with striking cinematography, effective music, and eerie sound design. Oct 31, 2023 Full Review William Schwartz Willamette Week Unfortunately, the mannequin is most interesting mechanically, and Don’t Look Away doesn’t really get into that at all, implying that its powers can be undermined with mirrors but never clearly explaining how or why. Rated: 2/4 Oct 18, 2023 Full Review Steven Warner In Review Online A one-note thriller that mistakes derivation for homage at every turn. Sep 1, 2023 Full Review Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru Palpably scary, atmospheric and thrilling. It's one of the best horror films of the year. Aug 28, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Juandi The people giving this good ratings must be getting paid. The acting is so bad. The script is even worse. The edit was laughable. In fact, a man sitting a few seats from me kept chucking throughout the movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/04/23 Full Review Ben W Some movies are so bad that they’re fun. This movie… it’s just a bit boring. The acting and writing is truly terrible. Definitely could have been fun if it wasn’t so underwhelming. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 09/02/23 Full Review Cristian s La verdad es que esperaba mucho menos. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/29/25 Full Review 젠 민 SPOILER AHEAD: I was willing to give the movie a chance despite the negative reviews, I mean, the concept / plot is unique and intriguing but this one scene really made me change my mind. ACTING: Decent SCRIPT: Not good, we can use more depth. STORY LINE:When Steve got beheaded, how in the world was he able to still walk out of the house and down the patio?! Is he a cockroach?. The origin of the mannequin wasn't explained as well. I should be giving it a lower score, but the solution to the problem that Frankie thought of was brilliant, and someone should have thought about that before, so I am raising the star a bit more for writer creativity. Other than that if you are looking for a great movie to watch on your movie night, you might as well make a pass on this one. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/29/25 Full Review tracy b Reminded me a little bit of dr who the mannequin the plot what why the blind guy the ending was the worst why make this movie crap?
