A team of space marines known as the Rapid Response Tactical Squad, led by Sarge (Karl Urban), is sent to a science facility on Mars after somebody reports a security breach. There, they learn that the alert came after a test subject, a mass murderer purposefully injected with alien DNA, broke free and began killing people. Dr. Grimm (Rosamund Pike), who is related to team member Reaper (The Rock), informs them all that the chromosome can mutate humans into monsters -- and is highly infectious.

Characters keep disappearing and reappearing without explanation and comic moments and moral messages - don't do drugs, genetic tampering is wrong - jar against the action backdrop.

Doom somehow takes a game about demons from Hell invading a military base on Mars and turns it into a boring and cliché-ridden film technically devoid of demons entirely...

Filme mais ou menos, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas de terror são mais ou menos, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom
