A team of space marines known as the Rapid Response Tactical Squad, led by Sarge (Karl Urban), is sent to a science facility on Mars after somebody reports a security breach. There, they learn that the alert came after a test subject, a mass murderer purposefully injected with alien DNA, broke free and began killing people. Dr. Grimm (Rosamund Pike), who is related to team member Reaper (The Rock), informs them all that the chromosome can mutate humans into monsters -- and is highly infectious.

J. R. Jones Chicago Reader The Rock's ungainly performance is somewhat alleviated by Karl Urban as a crew member and Rosamund Pike as his twin sister, a doctor on the project. Alex H Ok so see people asking why it is marked down as poor well for me I played the original doom game back in 93 and it was always one man and his guns go to mow down some demons until you get too doom 3 where they decided to make it a squad game and this is where the film comes in the based doom film on doom3 so for me it just doesn’t work nothing against the actors huge rock fan but it’s a thumbs down for me Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/18/24 Full Review Stephen H Don’t understand why this movie is rated so poorly. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/16/24 Full Review Nenad V Very weird movie and basically nothing else. Also very forgettable. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 09/06/24 Full Review Audience Member A great horror sci fi movie, but a horrible doom movie. The first person scene was amazing, and if the VFX director did the entire movie, it would have been great. Watch it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/23/24 Full Review Nick C I watched this twice only for the soundtrack and the fps Sequence the rest of the movie terrible Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/17/24 Full Review Dinos K the "Rock"'s bad, acting's bad, CGI's bad, plot's bad, OK....
