Audience Member Acting was fine and the initial deaths were believable, after that it all gets a bit silly. At least I learnt about human medical trails and what double blind meant. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/29/24 Full Review Audience Member I would give this a C+/B- it was a really good attempt at a decent premise with actual scary bits sprinkled throughout. Decent development and great acting and filming. The story was just a little lackluster. Trapped in a place, don't go to sleep. Not much else going on story wise but the visuals were cool and the score really added to the depth and ambiance of the feeling. Overall worth a watch, but wouldn't think to watch it again. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/19/24 Full Review Stephen G There is absolutely no there there. The critics must have been on mushrooms or have taken the drug so stupidly dramatized in this nothing movie. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/16/24 Full Review Joshua F Good film but the ending was hard to buy. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/03/24 Full Review Alex C To be honest, this movie was 4D. Even I felt tired by the end of this movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/03/24 Full Review kdub175 Very enjoyable watch! For me, it's one I probably won't watch again, for a while anyway, unless watching with someone else for their first time. Though I'm glad I found the trailer that led me to watch. A familiar style/genre you could say, we've all seen many films with a similar feel but the plot is what I found compelling. Has some great acting, editing, and score to match those intense scenes. Little longer than it needs to be, kinda lost some steam for me, felt a bit dragged out an ended abruptly. To give a grade, I'd say solid B. Kat Halstead Common Sense Media This is a well-crafted, tight 90 minutes that will keep viewers hooked and shows great potential from the up-and-coming filmmakers. Mar 7, 2024 Full Review Alan Zilberman Washington City Paper Ian Hunt-Duffy uses the limited setting to his advantage, escalating tension through the frayed sanity that can only come when someone stays awake much longer than they should. Feb 29, 2024 Full Review Emma Wolfe SpookyAstronauts This is a fun watch, but it's just that for me. Rated: 6/10 Feb 16, 2024 Full Review Chris Wasser Sunday Independent (Ireland) This moody, claustrophobic chiller stretches its one good idea beyond breaking point -- but there is enough here to unnerve and, indeed, frighten even the most cynical participant. Rated: 3/5 Feb 14, 2024 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film An effective little thriller. Rated: 3/5 Feb 12, 2024 Full Review Paul Lê Bloody Disgusting Double Blind will do little to assuage anxiety about healthcare and the drug industry, but the extra effort put into its creation makes for a worthwhile slice of medical horror.
