This movie is from a comedy play written about 100 years ago. The new 2017 movie is well played, the actors are great. The story makes you think about some concepts that are very much current. This Dr really believes that everyone should be able to benefit from medicine (written in 1921). But he also mixes this sentiment with the want and need for a life that is comfortable financially. There is a mix of him really improving people's health, while providing other potentially unnecessary treatments, and making a good living by also making others in the town benefit from this. It is a lighthearted story but with good points for the viewer to think about the balance between medicine for the good of people (while making a living) and using medicine mainly for financial gain. I think in this sense it is really worth it watching it, especially as the actors are wonderfully depicting a French village and it's typical inhabitants. Omar Sy is great and also worth watching in the Lupin series.

Minha opinião: É o estilo de filme que mais se identifica com Omar, o estilo auto-ajuda, superação, bola para frente e este filme não sai desta proposta. Onde passa em uma cidade da Espanha, onde ele saiu fugido do antigo local onde devia dinheiro e este passado vira assombrar sua vida. Mas quando ele fugia, se fez passar de médico dentro de uma navio. E assim que chega nesta nova cidade ele exerce como médico e se torna bem sucedido e revoluciona a saúde de toda a cidade. Porém ele é perseguido pelo padre da cidade que tem inveja dele e começa a persegui-lo e os antigos fantasmas também surge para estorqui-lo. E todo este processo ele se apaixona por uma mulher que fica com tuberculose e acaba morrendo. O padre desmascara ele, mas a cidade apoia Omar e assim termina. A grande moral do filme é Omar recupera a alta estima de todos da cidade ajuda a liberta as pessoas dos vícios e ter uma vida mais saudável. Roteiro: boa Vale apena assistir? Sim Nota: 7
