Audience Member Another zany comedy from Ronald Cheng. He is rather good as a comedian. Ronald and his 2 pals Cheung Tat-Ming & Sam Lee are rich kids who are good for nothing. Ronald dad Law Kar-Ying is at wits end and decide to donate his assests out rather than give him unless he find a job. His passion is to be a police and so he take up the challenge. In the police school, he is attracted to Stephy Tang. As usual, the trio keep doing opposite and unorthodox things hoping to get expel but they are protected by the superior Eric Tsang who is buddy with Law. Ronald want to burn the instructor office to get expel but is already anticipated. Just when Ronald is really going to get expel, he met Stephy again who says her passion is to be police. Ronald re-ignite his passion and will to continue. But the instructor enroll them to a intern learning programme so he got rid of them quicker. Now they all go to different unit to experience. During the surveillence trial, he chat with Stephy more. The target taunt them. Ronald secretly change his sunblock to alcohol. The guy want to smoke and end up as fireball. Their results were good. Miriam Yeung want them to continue. Stephy request to be in different group with Ronald as he always talk. But end up they are still together. The operation is a success and Eric reward them to a meal. He ask Ronald to send Stephy home. The ace who got fired owe loanshark lots of money. The loanshark want him to get back the drug in the HQ and he can forgo the loan. Stephy want Ronald to go away and later she got kidnap by the ace. The superior refuse to let Eric take the drug for his daughter and put a memo to all cops not to assist him. So he can only find Ronald. Ronald use money to buy firearms. His 2 buddies join him too. Ronald finally win over Stephy. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Typically daft Vincent Kok comedy containing extremely little, custom made for Stephen Chow-wannabe Ronald Cheng and a major breakthrough for the latter. With so few things to like about it, Dragon Loaded rests entirely on funnyman Cheng's shoulders, who manages to save the movie from complete obscurity with his sympathetic charisma and nice guy-charm. Dragon Loaded evokes absolutely no feelings at all in the viewer, but Cheng apparently has enough personal charm to get you through.
