Bruce Lee's (Jason Scott Lee) rise begins in Hong Kong, as a young boy receiving traditional Chinese martial arts training. After an altercation compels young Bruce to leave the country, his father (Ric Young) sends him to the United States, imploring him to seek success that even Hong Kong will recognize. Grew up watching this movie and I'd watch it again and again because I love the plot and the chemistry between Jason Scott Lee and Lauren Holly. Whoever hates this movie needs to open their eyes and give their heads a little wobble. I've never seen any of Bruce Lee's movies but this is the only one I'd watch because I can't seem to picture anyone as Bruce Lee other than Jason Scott Lee.

Filme caricato, ao estilo de Jack Chan, só que ruim. A sexualização é terrível e o enredo quase não tem a ver com a história do Bruce contada pela sua esposa e família (como a irmã de Lee). É um filme para rir. Tem até barulho de boliche quando os caras caem no começo do filme.

Makes me cry every single time I watch. What a man and legend and portrayed wonderfully by great performances! While not always the most accurate depiction of his life in a few parts, a true inspiration for martial artists and Bruce Lee enthusiasts!
