Al R @BIGAL6969 1d If you were not a teenager in the late 80s, this movie is probably not for you. The sound track is amazing. Jason Robards and Harry Dean Stanton ("avenge me" dad from 84's Red Dawn) are acting legends. Again, teens from the late 80s remember "the 2 Coreys" and Meredith Salenger is one of the most beautiful women on the planet....her decision to marry Patton Oswalt is baffling, but she's still gorgeous. I love this movie if only because it sends me back to the late 80s for a little while. Contrary to most movie critics, the story is interesting. If youre not in your 50s (2026) you'll probably not get how this movie is good, but if you are, and you had fun in your teen years, while also being a train wreck, this might be for you. I loved the Coreys going into this, License to Drive was a guilty pleasure and I couldn't wait to see their follow-up. It makes sense in a way they had to flip Coreys in this film, there is a bizarre disconnection to it. Feldman's self-indulgent clothing and Michael Jackson dances was an exercise in self-gratuity. I guess this was the beginning of the end for one of Hollywood's most beloved 80s duos, at this point Haim was up to his ears in cocaine.
