The film is a surprisingly hilarious and deeply sickening midnight freak-out, and for a director known more for character-driven melodramas and comedies it's a delectably disgusting change of pace worth crowing about.

Don't let cheesy puns or rhyming couplets put you off what is otherwise an altogether more sophisticated approach to a macabre topic, fusing political commentary with grisly scenes of graphic, uninhibited violence.

This was a pretty good horror movie. I knew absolutely nothing about it going into it and I definitely rec that as the way to go about seeing this. It's much more fun to figure out the plot as it's going vs reading a blurb beforehand that takes away and all surprise. It's not scary but like any good slasher, it has some unique kills and is fun.

Fantastic!! It's a unique type of slasher film. Soo gruesome, grim and bleak in its commentary on the high cost of living, and the struggle that causes. There's even a dark streak of humor throughout.
