      Audience Member Badly producetion was some what confused and hard to follow. Bella Thorne did a bad job. So happy I did not have to see her face on the screen or any part of her for that matter. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Co-executive producer Bella Thorne teams with Lifetime to make not a horror movie perse but more of a supernatural teen drama. Cierra Ramirez plays Pearl, a 16 year-old vampire who belongs to a powerful clan. A crowning ceremony is taking place for the rest of the clans by the vampire king. Pearl is so misunderstood by her family she feels so left out. After she's attacked one night and almost staked through the heart she has to take extra precautions to prevent her secret from getting out. Later she has to pose as a high school student to live a "normal" life. It won't be so simple though as she finds out she's actually immune to the sunlight which is good for her as she can walk during the day, although others fear it might taint the rest of the clan. Pearl though is determined to bring about change to her race but she also might have a ray of humanity she never thought she could have. She may not be the only supernatural being too. Maybe Pearl doesn't have to be a monster all the time if this change can occur. True we can't change how we were born but we can change how we live. This is a very enjoyable lifetime supernatural movie putting another spin on the popular genre. Even a creature of the night can have a conscience.
