Was over an hour in before I realized I was watching the wrong Drive (I meant to watch the one with Ryan Gosling per coworker's suggestion). What I was left with was a somewhat entertaining buddy action movie with impressively choreographed sequences and funny moments throughout. There's not too much depth to the movie and I got bored after about the third main action sequence.

Criminally underseen buddy action flick. Mark Dacascos and Kadeem Hardison play wonderfully off each other. It's equal parts funny, and kick-ass action. The fight choreography has a rich kung-fu flair that was lacking in a lot of these kinds of movies from this era. There's some gonzo elements (like Brittany Murphy's over the top performance), but those just add to mix of this fun melting pot of a movie.

Mark Dacascos plays an enhanced human who is being pursued by a gaggle of hitmen and another enhanced human. Along for the ride is Kadeem Hardison who gets caught up in it all. Sounds ridiculous and it is, but it's also pretty damn entertaining and the action sequences are much more impressive than they have any right to be. Nice seeing Brittany Murphy in this as well.

If you like errand person action with near comedy dialogue. This film is for you! Persistent adventure movie for sure. Very similar to "Crank" and "The Transporter". If your a drama or romance type. I would pass. #smokefit.us
