Ruchi G This is such an amazingly chauvinistic and appalingly bad movie. Was quite popular when it came out and it's songs were popular too. I saw it just to compare where we are now with a movie like thappad (tapsee Pannu) where she divorced her loving husband and his family over a slap, versus 2 girls wanting to go back to their inlaws families who tried to murdet them, along with fat dowries that their brother couldn't afford. I mean, how could a director portray girls this awfully. No girl could ever want to willingly go back to a house where the hubby is mute and the inlaws have tried to murder them. This movie's director, writer, producer, were all just not thinking ! But yet, was glad to see it just to realize where we were and how far we've come.
